We collect information required exclusively to execute back-office accounting services and communicate with your team:
- Contact Information: Full name, professional email address, phone number, company name, and country.
- Accounting Operational Data: Read-only access to general ledgers, trial balances, invoices, payroll journals, and bank statements provided via secure client repositories.
- Platform Credentials: Shared safely via encrypted password managers (1Password / LastPass) without transmitting plain-text passwords.
2. How Information Is Used
All data provided to Veriqon Consulting is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- To perform contracted bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, month-end closes, and financial reporting support.
- To maintain quality control reviews supervised by senior Chartered Accountants.
- No Data Monetization: We do NOT sell, rent, license, or share your data or client files with third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security Controls
We implement technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or loss:
- Work-in-Cloud Model: Our accountants work directly inside your accounting software instances (QBO, Xero, NetSuite) without extracting database files to local drives.
- Terminal Security: Secure VPN access, active antivirus protection, restricted USB ports, and enforced multi-factor authentication (MFA).
4. Non-Disclosure & Team Compliance
Every team member at Veriqon Consulting signs legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) prior to client assignment. Access to client data is strictly restricted on a need-to-know basis for assigned engagements.
